Number of teams in AFC Futsal Club Championship to be increased

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A futsal committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) adopted decision to increase number of participants of the AFC Futsal Club Championship from 2015, according to the press serviceof Uzbekistan Football Federation.

In line with the decision, number of participating teams in the AFC Futsal Club Championship will reach 12 from 2015. AFC Futsal Club Championship, which will be held in China on 25-30 August 2014, will be attended by eight teams.

The committee also decided that AFC Futsal Club Championship will be held each year starting from 2015.

This year, Locomotiv Tashkent will represent Uzbekistan at the AFC Futsal Club Championship in China. The Uzbek team is in Group A along with Shanzhen Nanling Tielang (China), Nagoya Oceans (Japan), and Vic Vipers (Austria).
