According to Administration, number of active domains in UZ zone rose from 9,550 in December 2009 to 11,088 in December 2010. In 2010, the number of registered domains made up 4,676 and deleted one – 3,138.

About 59% of registered domain fell to share of legal entities and other 41% to individuals. At the same time, 82.1% of domains were registered by residents of Uzbekistan.

Over 40.67% of domains in UZ zone are hosted abroad, 10.06% at UZINFOCOM data center and 6.37 in UzNET data center.

Tomas (36% of registered domains), Billur Com (25%) and Arsenal-D (19%) are leading on number of registered domains.

National domain of Uzbekistan was created on 29 April 1995. Center for development and introduction of computer and information technologies UZINFOCOM is administrator of UZ domain zone.
