In the third quarter, the level of smartphone penetration among Opera browser users rose by 2.4% and now makes up 19.4%. In particular, number of smartphones on Android and iOS platforms grew by 19% and 14.3% respectively.

Opera also noted that Opera Mini users increased internet use in the third quarter by 5% compared to the second quarter of 2013.

According to Opera, the top 10 handsets among users of Opera Mini in Uzbekistan in third quarter of 2013 are:

Opera said that Top 10 did not change significantly. The first four positions remain unchanged compared to the second quarter of 2013. Only change is that Apple iPhone entered to the Top 10.

Opera also presented Top 10 devices based on Android in the third quarter. The Top 10 includes following handsets:

3. Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)
4. Samsung Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100)

Opera underlined that top two places did not change. Samsung Galaxy S III Mini improved its position moving from 9th to 6th place. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (the 7th place) and Samsung Galaxy S II Plus (10th place) are new comers in the ranking. Locally mad model Artel Adi5 was the only device in the ranking, which was not produced by Samsung.

There were no changes in Top 10 of the popular websites in the quarter. Google, Yandex, Odnoklassniki and You Tube are still the most popular websites among users. Uff.uz was the only local resource, which entered to the ranking.
