Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 August 2024, commercial banks in Uzbekistan have issued 50.93 million bank cards, according to data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The leader in the number of issued cards is People’s Bank with 11.3 million cards. Agrobank follows in second place with 4.85 million cards, and Ipoteka Bank ranks third with 4.36 million cards.

Digital bank TBC Bank Uzbekistan has issued more than 3.77 million cards, while Anor Bank has issued 1.86 million.

The banks that issued the fewest cards include Uzum Bank (1,301), APEX Bank (1,352), and Soderot Bank Tashkent (1,965).

According to the regulator, as of 1 August 2024, commercial banks have installed around 424,000 payment terminals.

People’s Bank leads in the number of installed terminals with 45,650, followed by the National Bank of Uzbekistan with 39,820 terminals, and Ipoteka Bank with 38,120 terminals.

The number of ATMs in Uzbekistan stands at 27,844. The leader in the number of ATMs is People’s Bank with 3,103 devices, followed by Agrobank with 2,154 ATMs and Kapitalbank with 1,770 ATMs.

The volume of transactions through payment terminals from January to July reached nearly 182 trillion soums.
