Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Nomad-Rally-2019 was held for the first time on 21-24 March 2019 in Tashkent and Tashkent region, in which tourists from Kazakhstan took part.

The car run was organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, Tashkent City Khokimiyat and the Department of Tourism Development of the City of Tashkent together with the dealer company for the sale of world-class tires in Uzbekistan Gold Grand Group, the press service of the State Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Kazakhstani car enthusiasts were united by the general idea - to drive over 2000 km from Almaty to Tashkent in Grand Touring cars.

Nomad-Rally is an opportunity to develop auto-tourism, to draw more attention to road travel and to further strengthen the friendly relations between the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It is planned to create a documentary film about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

Also, as part of the event, a concert program was organized for children undergoing treatment at the pediatric oncology clinic in Tashkent.

At the end of the event, the Organizing Committee Nomad-Rally 2019 presented a letter of thanks to the Tashkent city administration and the Department of Tourism Development of the city of Tashkent for practical assistance and organizational work.
