Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A multi-profile congress-exhibition of alternative types of tourism was held in Turkey from 4 to 7 April: 3th World Health Congress & Congress (Hestourex 2019). The event was held under the auspices of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, with the support of other relevant organizations, the NOC of Uzbekistan reported.

The main goal of HESTOUREX is sustainable development of tourism in alternative areas (healthcare, sports, etc.) through bilateral cooperation between countries at global professional business meetings.

In order to maximally reveal and show the country’s potential in the field of sport, the exhibition organizers for representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan organized a small tour of the city of Kayseri.

 The geographical feature of the city is that it is located at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level. Fresh air, favorable conditions not only created for tourists, but also for athletes, allow professionals to be engaged in comfortable conditions, to conduct training camps in such disciplines as athletics, especially cycling. For winter sports there is the Ergies ski resort located nearby. It is worth noting that the lower stations of the cableways of the resort are at an altitude of 2,250 meters above sea level, the upper - 3,400.

Turning to the exhibition, it is worth noting that representatives of the Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan held dialogues and negotiations with representatives of Turkish sports federations. Presentations, meetings in the B2B format were organized, topical issues of successful development of sports in the tandem of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The event was attended by Advisor to the President of the National Olympic Committee Nazirjon Khudoikulov, and the Director of the International Relations Department of the NOC Kamolitdin Ergashev.
