Nine gold medals for Uzbek boxers at the Asian U-22 Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This Asian boxing championship among athletes under the age of 22 will go down in history. Of the ten finalists of the national team of Uzbekistan, nine became winners of the final bouts. 

In the weight up to 48 kg, Shodiyorjon Melikuziev lost outright to Sanjar Tashkenbay from Kazakhstan.

But then everything went as it should. First, in the weight category up to 60 kg, Dilshod Abdumurodov defeated Putanet Rudsuk of Thailand to win the gold medal.

Then Shahboz Yunusaliev (-63.5 kg) broke the resistance of the Mongolian Tulga Oyunbaatar (4:1), Bekzod Khamidov (-67 kg) had no easier time against Abzal Serik from Kazakhstan, but also won 4:1.

Nurislom Ismoilov (-71 kg) maintained a winning tradition in the fight against another strong opponent, Sabyrjan Akkalykov from Kazakhstan, winning with the same score 4:1.

In weight up to 75 kg Alokhon Abdullayev defeated Dias Moljigitov from Kazakhstan (4:1).

In the weight category up to 80 kg, Jasurbek Yuldoshev confidently outplayed the Chinese Khalimulati Riemanda, which can be seen from the score 5:0.

Shokhjakhon Abdullayev (-86 kg) defeated Robert Muskita from Indonesia to win another gold for Uzbekistan.

In the final of the heavyweights, a brawl took place, our Nusrat Tokhirov defeated another compatriot Abdulla Rajabov, who came out under the flag of Cambodia.

And finally, in the super heavy weight over 92 kg, Jahongir Zokirov defeated the Chinese Aijakhair Tuonongdaji without any problems.

So, the national team of Uzbekistan won nine gold, one silver and one bronze medals.
