Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An online competition of the World Cup in weightlifting among youth continues in Peru. It should be noted that our representatives won a gold medal.

Nigora Abdullayeva, competing in the -55 kg weight category, showed a result of 84 kg in the snatch exercise and won a gold medal. The second place was taken by Rosegi Ramos from Philippines (78 kg), the third - Malgarzota Miyak from Poland (75 kg).

In the jerk exercise, our athlete managed to lift 104 kg and she clinched the second gold. Behind her is the representative of Peru Victoria Buirton with the result of 99 kg. And the Filipina Rozegi Ramos completed a strong three - 98 kg.

Thus, according to the results of the biathlon, Nigora Abdullayeva took first place. It should be noted that our sportswoman bypassed her rivals by a significant margin - 188 kg. Silver went to Rosega Ramos (176 kg), and bronze to Victoria Buirton (172 kg).

Earlier, another of our weightlifters, Khusenboy Matrasulov, who performed in the -55 kg weight category, won first place in the snatch exercise.
