NGOs of Uzbekistan gather 100 tonnes of humanitarian aid
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Another 100 tonnes of humanitarian aid, gathered with the efforts of Mehr nuri Foundation, the Women’s Council, the Fund Forum and the SISF – organizations patronized by Gulnara karimova, will leave Tashkent tomorrow to refugee camps in Ferghana Valley.
Such organizations as "Tadbirkor ayol" Association of Business Women, Invest Credit, Singapore Representative Office in Uzbekistan, Lobol-Impeks Ltd., Baraka Credit Union, Boutique Eve, as well as individuals made their contributions.
On 16 June, the foundations dispatched 130 tonnes of humanitarian aid (food supplies and medication) worth over 200 million soums.
The hotline continues to receive calls from those wishing to contribute to the cause of providing humanitarian aid for all those affected by the recent events in Kyrgyzstan.
