Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has published a ranking of the 20 largest taxpayers in the country.
According to the committee’s data, from January to September 2024, 949 major taxpayers contributed over 81.2 trillion soums in taxes to the budget.
Of this total, 41.8 trillion soums came from the 10 largest taxpayers with state participation, while 6.4 trillion soums were contributed by the 10 largest private companies.
The leader among state enterprises in terms of tax payments remains the Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK), with a total of 18.6 trillion soums.
The second place is held by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK), which contributed 6.3 trillion soums.
Uztransgaz and Uzbekneftegaz follow in third and fourth places, with 3.08 trillion and 3.05 trillion soums, respectively.
Among private companies, UzBAT takes first place, having paid 2.1 trillion soums.
The ranking saw some changes: the supermarket chain "Anglesey Food" (Korzinka) dropped out of the list, making way for the Uralsk Machine-Building Plant, which is now included.
Additionally, other companies entering the top 20 include UzAuto Motors with 2.2 trillion soums, Uzbektelecom with 882 billion soums, Beeline with 437 billion soums, Kapitalbank with 470 billion soums, and Hamkorbank with 382 billion soums.
