The Ambassador handed copies of his credentials, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

During the talks the parties exchanged opinions on pressing issues of Uzbek-Czech relations in bilateral and multilateral formats.

A special attention was paid to interaction in commercial-economic and investment areas. A mutual interest in expanding bilateral trade, attraction of direct investments in joint projects in diverse spheres of the economy, including tourist infrastructure, was expressed.

Practical aspects of developing cooperation in cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed at the meeting.
