The press service of Uzbektelecom said that the company conducts work on creation of joint venture with Olive Telecommunication Pvt. Ltd. (India) at Navoi free industrial and economic zone to implement investment project “Organization of production/assembly of smartphones, tablet computers and internet devices on the base of TelecomInnovations”.

Uzbektelecom underlined that it conducted all necessary preparation works to create the joint venture.

At the first stage of the project, OliveTelecom will produce mobile and fixed phones, CDMA 450 modems and internet devices.

It is planned that the production of the goods will be localized stage-by-stage and create new 25 new jobs.

Currently, Uzbektelecom and OliveTelecommunicationPvt. Ltd. invested US$97,300 to charter capital of OliveTelecom.
