A joint venture, Kogonteks LLC, is being set up in Tutikun village of Kagan district on the initiative of the head of Dav Dil Farm Davlat Hoykulov, UzReport.com reported.

Hudoykulov said the production would be launched by the end of the year. Chinese investors will contribute to the start up capital and ensure the delivery of modern equipment.

The enterprise is expected to employ over 400 workers, Turkiston-Press reported. It will process 6,500 tonnes of raw cotton fibre into high quality cotton yarn. It is planned that most of the enterprise’s output will be exported.
