Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the latest session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, a bill was considered in the first reading, aimed at creating more convenient conditions for citizens participating in legal proceedings.
The document proposes amendments to the Civil Procedure Code, the Economic Procedure Code, and the Code of Administrative Procedure. The main goal of the changes is to establish the legal framework for remote participation in court hearings, allowing citizens to participate in legal processes via mobile videoconference without the need to physically attend the courthouse.
It is expected that the adoption of the law will reduce bureaucratic delays associated with the requirement for personal court attendance and significantly simplify access to justice for the population.
Following the discussions, the bill was supported and adopted by the deputies in the first reading.
