Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The recently adopted Government resolution on the Program of Measures to Enhance Legal Culture in Society for 2024-2025 marks a significant step in the development of legal culture in Uzbekistan.

The program aims to improve the population’s legal literacy, strengthen interactions between citizens, the state, and society, and leverage modern methods for promoting legal awareness.

According to the resolution, the approved Program of Measures to Enhance Legal Culture in Society for 2024-2025 includes the following key initiatives:

- Enhancing the legal culture of the population in the "individual - state - society" relationship;

- Introducing innovative methods of legal advocacy to raise the legal culture within society;

- Strengthening the role of the media in promoting legal culture among the population;

- Conducting research on the scientific foundations for improving legal culture.

Leaders of the relevant government agencies and organizations are personally responsible for the timely, complete, and high-quality implementation of the measures outlined in the program. They are also required to report quarterly on the progress and results to the Ministry of Justice.
