Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In order to develop tourism in the mountainous and foothill areas of Surkhandarya region, the government of Uzbekistan is launching a program to attract private investments.
Three new tourist centers will be created, covering a total area of over 945 hectares. The land plots for these centers will be sold through electronic auctions, with a favorable installment payment plan over 10 years.
Investors will be able to build hotels, family guesthouses, and other tourist infrastructure facilities. This project aims to significantly improve the region's tourist infrastructure and stimulate economic growth.
