As reported earlier, Germany’s EvoBus GmbH delivered 25 Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses to Tashkent on 19 August 2012.

The paper said that Toshshahartranshizmat Association has received about 1,000 Mercedes-Benz buses since independence of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the paper said, the bus fleet is updated on regular basis. In 2008, the association bought 200 Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses and the same number in 2009.
