Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- There has been a change in the founder of Uzpaynet, which owns Paynet.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, New Industrial Technologies has become the owner of a 100% state share in the company.

The Agency for Management of State Assets did not report on the transaction.

New Industrial Technologies was registered in April 2019, with an authorized capital of 273.56 billion soums.

The founders of the company are listed as Alex Lee (60%) and Mustafa Abdurakhmanov (40%). It is also worth noting that Mustafa Abdurakhmanov owns 77.6% of the shares in Asia Alliance Group, which is the main shareholder of Asia Alliance Bank.

Paynet was founded by Botir Arifdjanov in 2005. He subsequently sold the company to the state (People's Bank) and stepped down from its management.
