Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Air travel between Uzbekistan and China continues to expand with the launch of a new flight route connecting Ferghana and Urumqi.

A delegation from Ferghana region, led by Khokim Khayrulla Bozorov, who is currently on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, participated in the official ceremony marking the launch of the new flight route in Urumqi.

The opening of this route is significant for strengthening ties between the regions, promoting trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as fostering tourism exchanges.

Flights will begin on 18 April.
