Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New personnel changes have been made at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.

By decision of the President of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Daliyev became the first deputy minister of higher education, science and innovation. Before his appointment, he held various positions in the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Otabek Makhkamov, who previously held a position in the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

Komiljon Karimov, who previously held the position of First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, was appointed as rector of the Westminster International University in Tashkent by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
