Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new investment project for the production of cyanide salts has been commissioned at the joint-stock company Navoiyazot.

The modern industrial complex, equipped with advanced technologies, is designed for the annual production of 80,000 tons of liquid sodium cyanide, 8,000 tons of hydrogen cyanide, and 50,000 tons of ammonium sulfate.

Around 40 new jobs have already been created at the plant. Production capacities will be gradually increased to full scale, with all technological processes operating in an automated mode and comfortable working conditions provided for specialists.

The products of the joint venture are widely used in the mining industry, agriculture, livestock farming, textile and food industries, as well as in drinking water disinfection systems and other sectors.
