Net income of Novo-Angren thermal power station doubles in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of Novo-Angren thermal power station open joint stock company grew from 11445 billion soums in 2010 to 22.175 billion soums in 2011, the annual report of the company said.

Net sales grew from 202.318 billion soums in 2010 to 269.786 billion soums in 2011, the report said. The prime cost rose from 178.116 billion soums in 2010 to 230.692 billion soums.

Gross income of Novo-Angren TPS grew from 24.202 billion soums in 2010 to 39.094 billion soums in 2011. Expenses grew from 12.73 billion soums to 16.597 billion soums in the reporting period.

Other income from main activity decreased from 2.114 billion soums in 2010 to 1.012 billion soums in 2011. Profit from main activity grew from 13.58 billion soums in 2010 to 23.51 billion soums in 2011.

Income from financial activity grew from 1.096 billion soums in 2010 to 4.538 billion soums in 2011, while expenses from financial activity – from 658.9 million soums to 1.974 billion soums.

The assets of the company made up 388.9 billion soums in 2011 against 314.089 billion soums in 2010. The charter capital made up 36.06 billion soums in 2011.

Construction of Novo-Angren thermal power station has been started in 1976 and the first block was commissioned in 1985. The installed capacity of Novo-Angren thermal power station is 2,100 megawatt. The station uses coal, gas and black oil.
