Net income of NBU makes up 37.82bn soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan (NBU) made up about 37.824 billion soums in the first quarter of 2014, the balance sheet of the bank, disclosed by the bank, said.

The assets of NBU reached 11.305 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2014. The volume of investments reached 1.063 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2014, loans and leasing – 6.843 trillion soums.

According to the bank, the liabilities reached about 10.128 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2014. The volume of deposits on demand exceeded 2.605 trillion soums, saving deposits – 40.835 billion soums and term deposits – 540.48 billion soums.

The equity capital of NBU made up 1.177 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2014, of which 125.946 billion soums fell to share of ordinary shares and 116.894 billion soums – undistributed income.
