Negotiations in Brussels confirmed the growing interest of European textile workers in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries met with Nelly Le Devic, EU Affairs Manager of the European Textile Services Association (ETSA).

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the modern development of the textile industry, in particular in Uzbekistan, trends in the use of textile products and their disposal, taking into account environmental requirements. In addition, special attention was paid to the forms of rent or leasing of special products of textile enterprises, such as overalls and uniforms, and types of outsourcing in this area.

As a result, an agreement was reached on further maintaining contacts, exchanging information, working out the issue of a trip of a delegation of the leadership of the association and its members to Uzbekistan, holding a videoconference with the leadership of the Uztekstilprom Association with the involvement of interested companies.

The European Textile Services Association (ETSA) is the leading European association of textile rental companies and national textile service associations in Europe. The mission of ETSA is to promote the textile services industry and the interests of member companies in cooperation with national textile services associations from all over Europe. 

`Textile services include fabric selection, clothing production, inventory management, logistics and delivery, care and maintenance. Rolled textiles include work and protective clothing, corporate business clothing, hospital and surgical textiles, textiles for hotels, restaurants, towels for drying hands and more. Textile rental is an alternative to owning your own textiles or using disposable materials.
