Negotiations held with Polish Delegation at Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 September 2024, a meeting took place between Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Rasulov, and a delegation led by the President of the Polish Banks Association (Związek Banków Polskich), Tadeusz Białek.

The Polish Banks Association is a non-profit organization that unites banks in Poland and was established in January 1991. Membership is voluntary, and any bank operating in Poland can join. The Association is also part of the European Banking Federation.

The meeting was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of Poland in Uzbekistan, Marcin Wakar, as well as representatives of Polish banks KUKE SA, PEKAO S.A, BGK, BOŚ S.A, and ZBP.

During the meeting, information was presented about the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the results of reforms and transformations, and investment projects. The discussion also covered changes in the banking sector, including projects aimed at providing financial support to entrepreneurs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
