NDPU calls Adolat to compete in action, not words
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (NDPU) and Social Democratic Party Adolat accused each other in groundless criticism and inexistence of logic in their actions.

Social Democrats accused representatives of NDPU in bad work with mahallas and inexistence attention to improving quality of communal services to population. In its turn, NDPU responded that Adolat is not planning to implement their promises, made during election period. The party noted that time is changing and mere words will not help to business.

NDPU members said that Adolat even did not study work of NDPU and made unfounded criticism. Social democrats said in their newspaper that NDPU’s Tashkent City Council does not work with mahalla and support them. Adolat claimed that NDPU member did not meet their voters and did not carry out public control.

NDPU said that Adolat claims are goundless and they did not even study situation. Adolat accused NDPU MP Qudratilla Zikirov that he did not visit his district after election. However, NDPU claims that Zikirov is member of Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party. This shows unprofessional attitude of Adolat.

People’s Democratic Party claimed that it is carrying out great work on developing cooperation with mahalla. The party said it is holding roundtables, seminars and other events at mahallas. The events focuses on solving social issues, responsibility of mahalla chairpersons, support of low income families, rational use of budget funds.

NDPU representatives said that in pre-election platform the party paid special attention to improvement of quality of communal services. MPs of NDPU at Tashkent City People’s Deputies Council regularly discuss issues connected with communal services, avoiding unfounded growth of tariffs, etc.
