Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 July 2018, National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU) held a meeting with the French bank NATIXIS.
The bank said that the talks were held in Paris within the framework of the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.
During the talks, issues of expanding cooperation on financing investment projects, including projects for small businesses and private entrepreneurship, involving the import of high-tech equipment and services from France and other countries of the European Union were discussed.
Issues on long-term cooperation, concluding agreements in the field of export financing and allocation of loans to support strategic projects were also considered.
Establishing cooperation with the bank will give a new impetus to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and will facilitate the further entry of the French business into Uzbekistan.
