NAZAR MEDICAL Clinic provided dental services to children without a license
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A dental clinic in Tashkent has been found to be treating children without a proper license, according to a report from the Competition Committee.
The Committee received a complaint from a citizen, Sh.G., who stated that his wife and children had undergone dental treatment at NAZAR MEDICAL, but the fillings fell out within days. As a result, he demanded a refund and requested appropriate action against the clinic.
During an inspection involving NAZAR MEDICAL representatives, the clinic confirmed that it had provided dental services and claimed that all procedures were performed in accordance with established standards.
However, additional checks conducted by consumer protection authorities and the Ministry of Health revealed that NAZAR MEDICAL lacked a license to perform pediatric therapeutic dentistry.
Furthermore, the clinic failed to provide the required medical documentation for the child, and the treatment did not comply with official clinical protocols.
As a result, the regulatory body issued a directive requiring NAZAR MEDICAL to address its licensing issues and submit a report on corrective measures.
The Competition Committee reminded citizens to verify medical institutions’ licenses and specialists’ qualifications before receiving services. Meanwhile, clinics are required to strictly comply with licensing regulations and medical service standards.
