Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Navbahor Khamidova, a representative of Uzbekistan’s women’s boxing team, competed in the opening stage of the Olympic Games against American boxer Morelle McKenna.
In a hard-fought match, Khamidova emerged victorious and secured her place in the quarterfinals.
On 3 August, Khamidova will step into the ring for a chance to advance to the semifinals.
