National stage of Yangi Avlod Festival kicks off in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National stage of Festival of Children Creative Work “Yangi Avlod” will be held in Tashkent on 14-15 December 2011. The stage will be attended by the winners of regional phases. Some 735 boys and girls from all regions of Uzbekistan, 70 individuals and 28 groups from Tashkent will participate at the event. Their total number reaches 1,027 people.

On 14-15 December, finalists will present their works to jury of the competition at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. They are divided into six groups.

On 15 December, finalists will participate in master-classes, which will be conducted by famous artists. On 16-18 December, a group of professional directors, choreographers and other specialists will prepare the best participants of final stage to gala-concert.

The organizers also prepared cultural programme for all participants during their stay in Tashkent. The programme also includes tours to sights, museums, theatres and cinemas.

The final gala-concert of the festival will take place at Istiqlol Palace on 19 November. The participants of the festival will present their works with popular singers. Fund Forum will award winners with diplomas and money prizes.

Fund Forum said that over 26,000 boys and girls applied to the festival this year. Overall, over 98,000 children participated at the festival in eight years.
