The organizers of the ceremony are Uzbekistan National Library, The House of Russian Community named after Solzhenitsyn and Representative office of Rossotrudnichestva (Russian Cooperation).

The House of Russian Community named after Solzhenitsyn carries out various projects within its programme for international cooperation. It cooperates with international organizations and funds, Russian culture centers, scientifif centers and libraries.

The house hands over from 30,000 to 50,00 copies of books from Russian publishers, including on history of Russia, philosophy, literature, art, Russian classic and modern literature, etc.

Uzbekistan National Library will receive over 300 books of such authors as Bella Ahmadulina, Marina Tsvetayeva, Vaseliy Aksenov, Vladimir Visotskiy, and others.
