Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A Presidential Decree “On Additional Measures to Improve the System of Continuous Professional Development of Employees in Preschool and School Education Organizations” has been adopted.

The National Institute of Pedagogical Excellence named after A. Avloni will be established on the basis of the National Research Institute of Professional Development and Training of Teachers in New Methods named after A. Avloni, as well as its Centers of Pedagogical Excellence in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions.

The activities of the National Center for Training Teachers in New Methods of Tashkent City and the Republican Resource Center for Pedagogical Education at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami will be discontinued and merged with the Institute.

A Center for International Research will also be created within the Institute.

Additionally, starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, a comprehensive system of retraining and advanced training for managerial and teaching staff, as well as specialists in preschool and school education organizations, will be implemented.

Specifically:

- The Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Directors and Specialists of Preschool Education Organizations will be transferred under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education;

- An electronic program "Virtual Professional Development" will be introduced for the continuous professional development of teaching staff and specialists in preschool education organizations.
