Committee on information and communication technologies of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, UzACI, Association of information technologies enterprises and companies of Uzbekistan and CIBGROUP are organizers of the Summit.

The Summit is platform for demonstration of achievements and opportunities of introduction of the ICT into various spheres of life and activities. The summit allows participants to review development trends in ICT sector and their stimulation in Uzbekistan. The event attracts interests of national and foreign experts.

Some 450 delegates from Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Germany, South Korea and Russia participated at the ICT Summit. Among participants were representatives of the state, public and international organizations, local and foreign IT companies, experts.

The summit was held in four thematic directions: development strategy, technologies and infrastructure, applications and solutions, information-library technologies.

At sectional sessions, the participants discussed latest achievements and developments in IT sector and exchange opinion and experience on problems and perspectives on implementation of national ICT development programmes.

The sessions discussed such issues as regulatory policy in ICT, electronic management, healthcare, electronic commerce, ICT in education, training IT-specialists, development of media business, etc.
