AFC Cup Group A hopefuls Nasaf’s winning run continued in the Uzbekistan League when they edged past Kyzylkum 1-0 in the second round on Thursday.
Nasaf, who defeated Lebanon’s Al Ansar 3-0 in their continental opener last week, climbed to second in the standings with six points with this victory.
An own goal by Alexey Nikolaev was enough for Nasaf to collect full points from their domestic encounter.
Nasaf will travel to Aden, Yemen, to meet Al Tilal in their second continental match on March 15.
