Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) canceled the license of UNIPOLIS, the insurance company.

The agency noted that the license was canceled in accordance with Article 33 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On licensing, permitting and notification procedures” and paragraph 49 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 21 February 2022 No. 80 “On approval of a unified regulation on the procedure for licensing certain types of activities through special electronic system."

The license of JSC SO UNIPOLIS allowed the company to carry out insurance activities in the field of general insurance in classes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 in a voluntary form.

The license has been revoked from 12 October  2023.

UNIPOLIS is obliged to fulfill its obligations under previously concluded insurance (reinsurance) contracts in the prescribed manner, the NAPP statement says.
