Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) of Uzbekistan held a meeting between First Deputy Director Vyacheslav Pak and the newly appointed UNDP Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Akiko Fujii.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in the development of the capital market and the insurance sector in Uzbekistan.

Vyacheslav Pak expressed his gratitude to UNDP for its active support and assistance in implementing reforms aimed at developing Uzbekistan’s financial markets. He also highlighted opportunities for further deepening cooperation and developing new joint initiatives.

Akiko Fujii reaffirmed UNDP’s commitment to continue its collaboration with the Agency, including contributing to the professional development of its staff. She also suggested leveraging UNDP’s resources to share Uzbekistan’s best practices.
