NAPP Delegation Studies Korean Exchange Practices During Visit to Seoul
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) is on a working visit to Seoul, participating in an educational program organized by the Korea Exchange (KRX) with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The program is designed to provide a comprehensive study of the advanced operational practices of stock exchanges in the Republic of Korea. The participation of Uzbek representatives aligns with Presidential Decree No. PP-291, issued on 2 September 2023, and aims to further improve the operations of key institutions such as the State Unitary Enterprise “Capital Market Information Resource Center,” the Central Depository, and the Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent.”
As part of the training program, participants are exploring modern technologies and techniques for monitoring securities transactions, mechanisms for detecting and preventing market violations, and regulatory practices implemented in South Korea.
The agenda also includes meetings with the leadership and specialists of Korean financial market institutions. Discussions will focus on risk management strategies, improvements in corporate governance, and the development of innovative financial instruments, including cutting-edge digital solutions for capital market infrastructure.
