Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek judo athlete Muzaffarbek Turaboev fought in the semifinals of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Turaboev, who faced the reigning world champion and world ranking leader from Azerbaijan, Zelim Kotsoev, unfortunately lost the match.

Turaboev will now compete against Spain’s Nikoloz Sherazadishvili for the bronze medal.
