Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the 4th "Central Asia-China" Think Tank Forum, themed "Mutually Beneficial Cooperation for Common Prosperity and Sustainable Development," started in Tashkent.

In his speech at the event, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Musa Djamanbayev, highlighted that the ongoing "Central Asia-China" Think Tank Forum is a highly effective discussion platform that will further strengthen the close ties between analytical centers.

"The agenda of today’s Forum and the topics of the sessions fully reflect our common goals and aspirations for multifaceted cooperation for the sake of joint sustainable development. The Forum will add new dynamism to the expansion of traditionally friendly relations between our countries and China," the diplomat emphasized.

Djamanbayev also stated that Kyrgyzstan is ready for active cooperation in all areas within the "Central Asia-China" format.

It is worth noting that the event, organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is attended by over 40 leaders and experts from about 20 leading research and analytical centers, as well as the heads of diplomatic missions from China and Central Asian countries in Uzbekistan.

The Forum is part of the practical implementation of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, announced in May 2023 at the summit of the heads of state of China and Central Asia in Xi’an.
