Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Former world champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev delivered an impressive victory over Mexico’s Ricardo Espinoza Franco, claiming the interim WBA title in the super bantamweight division.

In the third round, Akhmadaliev dominated the fight, knocking his opponent down three times, which forced the referee to stop the match.

Following his triumph, the Uzbek boxer called out undisputed champion Naoya Inoue, challenging him publicly and urging him to fulfill his obligations to defend the WBA title.

Meanwhile, Inoue is preparing for his next bout scheduled for January 24, where he will face IBF mandatory challenger Sam Goodman.
