MUIC hosts presentation of the Swedish-Ukrainian IT-school Beetroot Academy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 April 2019, a meeting was held between the Directorate of the Innovative Information Technologies Support Center "Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center" with representatives of the Swedish-Ukrainian IT- School of Beetroot Academy.

The meeting discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in the field of IT education. In particular, Beetroot Academy’s unique method for training students and graduates of specialized universities that do not yet have experience in companies helps to learn how to interact with colleagues, respect their opinions, take different points of view into account and make the best decision.

All course programs are written by practitioners and meet today’s requirements. The training uses the “inverted class” technique - the students study the theory at home, and already in the class the teacher conducts practical classes.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to implement a plan of joint activities and long-term cooperation with the Swedish-Ukrainian IT school of Beetroot Academy.

Beetroot Academy is a Swedish-Ukrainian IT school, which conducts its work in 11 cities of Ukraine and helps build a brilliant IT career. Courses last 4 months, and the knowledge gained lays a solid foundation for starting work in the IT field. In 4 years, Beetroot Academy has completed more than 1,000 people, 70% of them are already employed. There is no rigid hierarchy in the team, friendly atmosphere reigns. In the classroom, students feel relaxed and treat the teacher on an equal footing and ask any questions. 120 hours of training on average + 20 hours of video.
