Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 1.1% or 100,000 users compared to January 2011.

Number of subscribers of MTS Uzbekistan increased by 25% or 1.82 million users compared to the same period of 2010.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 104.11 million users as of 28 February 2011. In February 2011, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS grew by 500,000 users.

MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
