MTS Uzbekistan subscribers’ base drops to 9.22m clients
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Number of subscribers of MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan, made up 9.22 million people as of 31 October 2011.
Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company dropped by 7.6% or 760,000 users in October compared to September 2011.
Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 100.34 million users as of the end of October 2011. In October 2011, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS fell by 1.2% or 1.2 million users.
MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
