The company said that the users can purchase two types of branded USB-modems – MTS 3G Modem and MTS 3G Modem Turbo.

The company said that the modems differ with internet speed. The operator said that the speed of MTS 3G Modem can reach 3.6 mbps and MTS 3G Modem Turbo – 7.2 mbps. The cost of the modems makes up 45,000 soums and 60,000 soums respectively.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general on commerce of MTS Uzbekistan, said that the company is continuing strategy on expanding mobile Internet access opportunities to subscribers. He added that the company started to sell USB-modems on record low prices, which should increase affordability of mobile Internet services.
