Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 1.4% or 140,000 users in September compared to August 2011.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 101.55 million users as of 30 September 2011. In September 2011, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS grew by 0.15 million users.

MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
