Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan and subsidiary of Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, said number of its subscribers reached six million-point. The company said it registered 1 million new subscribers in just five months.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general on sales and client affairs, said MTS Uzbekistan has been leading in mobile market for 18 years. He said that each fifth habitant of Uzbekistan is subscriber of MTS.

He said that launch of new tariff plans and additional services, as well as good work of the company helped to increase subscribers base to six million-point.
