MTS Uzbekistan launches new service “Close Countries”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator and 100% subsidiary of Mobile TeleSystems, launched new service “Close Countries”, which allows subscribers to make calls to some of the CIS states on decreased prices.

From 1 July 2011, MTS Uzbekistan offers its subscribers, who makes international calls frequently, to use service “Close Countries”.

The operator said that calls to some CIS states – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine will cost only US$0.25 per minute. At the same time, daily subscription fee is US$0.02 per day and activation fee – US$0.05.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general on commerce of MTS Uzbekistan, said the proposal of the company is directed for subscribers, who make calls to CIS states. He added that the company take into account all needs of subscribers and create clear and firm billing system with beneficial terms of calls to the most demanded directions. With new service, the subscribers can communicate more with relatives and friends in majority of the CIS states.

MTS Uzbekistan added that new service is available for all subscribers, except those who subscribed to RED Basic, RED Night, RED Light, Time Basic, Time Light tariff plans.
