MTS Uzbekistan cuts prices for Internet packages

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan and 100% subsidiary of Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, said that prices for existing Internet packages were cut by 12.5%.

From 1 October 2011, the active Internet users can purchase Internet packages on lower prices, the operator said.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general of MTS Uzbekistan on commerce, said the subscribers receive opportunity to use mobile Internet on attractive prices.

The operator said that the subscribers can buy up to GPRS packages simultaneously. The packages will be active for 30 days. The subscribers charged at activation of the package.
