Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems OJSC said its Uzbek branch, MTS-Uzbekistan (former Uzdunrobita) increased its subscribers’ base by 4.5% in the end of July compared to June.

The release of company said the subscribers’ base rose by 90,000 users from 1.95 million in June 2007 to 2.03 million in July.

MTS-Uzbekistan is largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan in terms of number of subscribers. The company fully owned by MTS.
