MPs, representatives of ministries and departments, scholars and archaeologists participated at the roundtable.

It was said that 7,570 cultural heritage objects are under protection of the government. Various seminars and conferences are organized in Uzbekistan to improve protection of these objects.

Such events were held in Karakalpakstan, Namangan region, Andijan region, Surkhandarya region, Samarkand region, Bukhara region and Tashkent region to discuss implementation of the legislation in this area. The measures on elimination of some shortages, reconstruction and preservation of objects were adopted.

The roundtable participants adopted recommendations on further improving use of cultural heritage objects and their preservation.
